Slow Living & Family

Low effort, plenty of breathing space and lots to join in with — a Dali where even parents with little ones truly relax.

Kids have fun. Parents actually rest.

Every day is low-intensity with free time built in, including an afternoon break back at a family-friendly guesthouse. Play on an Erhai beach, take a cable-car-assisted Cangshan stroll, visit a small farm café and a local market, go flower-bike cycling — and pick from a menu of family add-ons to match your children's ages.

Good to know

  • Family add-ons, chosen by your children's ages: Yunshang Grassland (rides and small animals — nicer toward evening); Duocai Fox Den kids' camp (from age 2 — kids love it, adults get tired); Luji Park (not for children under 2 years 10 months); Bed-Sheet Factory market (more for the parents).
  • Cycling is optional and self-arranged; we recommend travel insurance.
  • High altitude and lakeside: bring sun protection and warm layers for everyone.
